Andria Blackmon
Andria is a native of San Francisco. She grew up under the guidance and care of her grandmother Mildred Blackmon, who taught her the importance of adopting care and compassion as virtues. She is very excited to be a part of the movement to end racial and ethnic disparities in the juvenile justice system.
Before the BI, Andria worked for project DISH (Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing), a project of the Tides Center that provides custom property management services exclusively to the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s "Direct Access to Housing" program. Andria managed a 92-unit residential hotel in the Tenderloin area, helping to reinforce the project's mission to provide clean, beautiful places to live and involve tenants in healthy and life affirming activities.
