Angela is a first generation, queer person of color raised in Inglewood, CA, where her spirit of advocacy and roots in equity originated from witnessing her parents’ early sacrifices as Filipino immigrants. She is a family and community medicine physician working with and for families and communities in Richmond, CA; an educator of the next generation of community health advocates; and lifelong learner and leader of diversity, equity, inclusion and antiracism work.
