Dr. Holly Child serves as the Chief Data and Research Officer at the Office of Youth and Community Restoration at the California Health and Human Services Agency. Dr. Child’s professional focus has been on supporting a variety of organizations using “data to action” to improve the lives of others while incorporating the lens of historical racism and injustices. As someone who does not have direct lived experience but wants to be a good ally and continuously learn how to be a better ally, she wants to gain new skills and knowledge to better challenge the status quo.
