Jonathan Gutierrez is Director of Finance at Haywood Burns Institute. After serving a decade in the United States Army, he brings a breadth of experience as finance, accounting, and operations executive within the civilian sector.  He is a visionary strategic thinker with strengths in operations management, grants and contracts, and brings value-adding perspectives to mission-oriented organizations. As such, his work has spanned retail, local and Tribal government, gambling, nonprofit, and social welfare programs. Jonathan holds an MBA from Eastern Washington University and a B.A. in Accounting from Western Washington University.  His hobbies include general fitness and coaching his son in all sports. Jonathan is native fluent in Spanish. He is happily married to his wife, Claudia, with whom he raises his son, Jovan, and a fur baby, Romeo.
