Jason Szanyi is the Deputy Director of the Center for Children’s Law and Policy. He works to achieve the Center’s mission of implementing alternatives to youth incarceration, eliminating dangerous and inhumane conditions for youth in custody, and expanding opportunities to divert youth away from the legal system altogether.

He has worked in these areas with a focus on race equity and reform, but he knows he has much to learn and apply. He hopes to be able to show he did so for the field, and for his two young sons.
